Unix seconds—

My time, your time.

Tell someone “my 12 PM is your local time.” Choose a date and time above, then copy the whole sentence.

For this date only. A timestamp does not repeat daily; daylight saving can change the time difference.

Compare timezones

Choose 3–5 cities. Dates and UTC offsets follow the selected event time.

01

Choose the event time

Pick the date, time, and timezone where your event is scheduled. Named timezones handle daylight saving for that date.

02

Find your format

Use F for a full event date, t for a compact time, or R for a countdown. Each code comes with a live preview.

03

Paste into Discord

Send the code as normal message text. Discord handles the local time for everyone who reads it. No bot required.

Already have a timestamp?

Paste a code or Unix number into the timestamp converter to see when it happens and edit it. Looking for a Discord time stamp with a full date and countdown? Copy the announcement above.

A few things worth knowing.

Quick answers before your next announcement.

How do Discord timestamps work?

A code like <t:1791635400:F> holds Unix seconds and a display style. Discord turns it into a readable date or time using each viewer’s settings. It represents one shared moment, even when the displayed dates differ.

Do I need to know the other person’s timezone?

No. Choose the timezone where the event is planned and enter its local date and time. Discord displays the same moment using each reader’s timezone and language settings. Preview as only changes this website’s preview, not the code you copy.

How do I write “my 12 PM is your time”?

Choose your source timezone, a specific date, and 12:00. Use Time (t) for the local-time part. On the generator, Copy time comparison gives you the complete sentence, including the source date and timezone. Each reader sees their own local time in Discord.

What should I check before using a timestamp in my bio?

Check whether your current Discord client renders the code in its About Me field; support can differ by field and client. A timestamp always points to one specific date, even if you display only the time. It does not automatically represent your daily schedule, and daylight saving can change the time difference. See the profile and recurring-time notes.

Which timezone should I select?

Choose the timezone in which the event was planned. If the organizer says 8 PM in New York, choose America/New_York and enter 20:00. Do not enter the converted time from a different timezone.

Can I use this on my phone?

Yes. Open this page in your mobile browser, choose a time, copy a code, then return to Discord and paste it. If clipboard access is blocked, the tool offers the text for manual copying.

Can I create a timestamp inside Discord?

Discord announced the desktop @time command in its February 2026 patch notes. It is useful for a quick time while writing a message. This tool adds explicit timezones, format comparison, raw codes, and ready-to-paste announcements.

Why does the date look different for another person?

Each viewer sees the date and time in their timezone. Someone in Tokyo may see the next calendar day compared with someone in New York. The code still points to the same instant. Use Preview as to compare.

Why is my timestamp showing as code?

Check the angle brackets, colons, Unix seconds, and uppercase or lowercase style. Do not put the code inside backticks. The troubleshooting guide walks through the most common mistakes.

Less guessing. Better planning.
